Our hood liners are created using the latest in Closed Cell Technology, which allows our liners to breath freely when the engine is warm, while providing the quietness required by our SL owners. Conversely when the weather is cold the cells in the pad will close, providing more heat to the engine when it is most needed. Lastly should their ever be a flare up under the hood this pad will resist extreme temperatures thus saving the paint on your car as well as to give the owner more time to stabilize the situation.
